TCGC Legislation Update

Greetings, Patriots!

First of all, we want to wish everyone a very blessed Easter celebrating the resurrection of the King of Kings and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Do you wonder why we do this every weekend? We feel every Tennessean should be watching what happens in these chambers because the votes and decisions of these elected officials impact each one of us every day. If you feel that your voice doesn’t make a difference or you believe that it isn’t important to monitor the actions of our officials, just ask the citizens of Scott County who are fighting to prevent the creation of a landfill in their county that would accept refuge from across the nation via railway. No one wants their county to become the nation’s dumping ground. They had some eye-opening interactions over the past couple weeks into the true nature of our Super Majority Republican House and Senate and whether they truly have your best interests as their objective. 

It is up to We the People to ensure our faith, family, and freedoms are protected. We know this is an extensive document, but there are thousands of bills submitted in our General Assembly every session. These are just the ones that we feel need the most attention. The others may be coming up soon or have already passed or failed. Either way, we want to make sure you are informed of the legislative actions happening in our state.
